Hey guys..

I have a 2000 W reg Fabia.

Its only at 46k miles, as it's been garaged up for a lot of its life..

I've heard various things, and that the 8V is a double chain instead of a belt?

If that's the case - Does it need to be changed this early? Or 70k+?

Also; would anything else need changing around this time?

The car runs fine, and doesn't disappoint..

There are a few odd problems, but it only cost me a grand and so I'm not too bothered with it.

Shouldn't need changing, but get rattly over time. That said, a friend had one snap on a Corsa of his, but it is rare.
