can anyone point me in the right direction for the cage mod, exactly what is involved and where the connectors are located. Pictures would be helpful. Would this help on my 04 octavia estate.

I used Servisol silicone grease from Maplin when I did it. It's in a tube...

connectors as in links above - have to say i couldn't notice any difference on either my 1.9 110bhp tdi or my wife's 2.0 140bhp tdi, but then the crease only cost £3 so not much of a loss

The main thing to remember is that it is any connector that is for a "Sensor" of some kind. So things like MAF, MAP, Engine Temperature, Engine Speed etc.
