A Few Fabia Pics

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

As I promised some "full vehicle" photos in a previous thread, and I finally got a few, I thought I should share ...

Hopefully the photos aren't too dark - they look nice and bright on my home PC (which has a calibrated monitor), but a bit dark at work. The reflections in the body didn't record well for some reason, but you can kinda see from those on the ends of the bumper...

Having never sealed/waxed a car before, I really do think beading looks weird ...

Photos taken about a month after it was waxed, and it just ticked onto 50,000 miles last week...

Was going to say I didn't realise Skoda were still selling new mk1's then I saw your comment about the milage, I looks so incredably clean, looks like new

Thanks :) I did kinda cheat by giving it a quick wash the day I took the pictures... ;) Having said that, I've found it sheds the dirt very well - the morning dew seems to carry most of it off when it runs off the paint (could be the sealant, I suppose).

Looks brand new, nice pictures

Looking good B)

Thanks, guys. :) I was really happy with how it came out :D

nice pictures

Thanks ... I have to give a lot of credit to the lens - all I really did was point it in the right direction ... Nikon put quite a lot of pixie dust in their 70-200mm f/2.8 - it really is something special that just "does something" to the images.

Nice unmolested example there. Very nice indeed.
