Sadly no CD multichanger or USB / memory card capability. Looking at options to upgrade here.

Optic projector headlamps (not standard on all models, but I think these look much better than the standard units)

Nice and clean - they must have steam cleaned it after the previous owner.

First registered October '07 so still has the best part of a year's manufacturer's warranty remaining, 10,000 miles on the clock, and they serviced it before I collected it. I also managed to knock the price down by almost £500.

Interior engine noise lower than I expected considering this is the 10-year-old VW 1.9TDI pumpe-duse unit in there. Still, performance is pretty obliging with 105BHP. Just hope I don't get soot problems in the particulate filter on the exhaust with lots of short journeys. Cabin quality exceeded my expectations and is definitely better than the MK5 Fiesta I was driving before. Suspension is softer too. No complaints about handling, but I don't think I'll be doing much to put this thing to the test.

Fuel computer reckons I can do just over 500 miles on a tank (45 litres).

Remote locking, rear parking sensors, and a decent alarm system too. There's also an option to disable the interior movement sensors if you need to.

Well, for a first car, not bad. :)
