I have been signed up here now for a while, checking out the mainly the For Sale Section .

As you can probably tell from my accent , .... I'm from the Republic of Ireland

I currently have a 3dr charcoal grey 06 VW Golf GT TDI[140]. My wife is due to give birth to our first child :love: in March and my Golf is currently for sale.

Supposedly 3dr cars dont work to well when trying to strap in the child , so once my car sells I'll be in the market for an Octavia.

I'll be looking for an MKII(2005) 2.0 TDI[140bhp] Octavia Laurin & Klement. I've had a look around and saw a few I like, but ...

what are the distinguishing points of the the L&K? My fear would be to buy(and pay the bit extra) for an L&K only to find out afterwards that it isnt an L&K.

Oh, and while you are here, can I have some opinion on these cars from people?

I only want to spend €8,000-€8,500, that translates to £6500 + the VRT to register the car in ROI.
