Tarox pads for Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

I have been speaking to tarox again today and it appears as the single piston callipers on the vRS are also being fitted to others in the VAG they tell me in a few months time there will be some sport pads produced for the Fabia vRS which will be better than OEM pads. :D

Thats great news as I'll probably be needing new pads sometime early next year. :D

I'd forget about the Tarox pads and get some Ferodo DS2500's.

Um nope they don't do them for the Fabia that's why I got in touch with tarox.

Thats good news!

Does the vRS have bigger/other pads then the TDI100?

I would of thought so but not 100% sure TBH.

Pretty sure they are the same - it's just the hubs/carriers which are different.....

Any news on these pads? Does anybody know if the vRS brakes are shared by other VAG group cars, e.g. the ibiza fr or polo 130bhp? Stikes me that if they all share a common pad, then companies will start churning them out sooner, and cheaper. Over a ton for the DS2500 is a ****take if you ask me, my Nissan had four pots on it and nobody tried to bend you over for this sort of money for a set of pads :thumbdwn:
