Hi to All and a very Happy Christmas

Featured Replies

Hi everybody, just a quick hello and a very Happy Christmas to all.

This is my first posting, as I have only just taken delivery (24th Dec) of my 1st Skoda.

I decided on a Superb Elegance 2.0TDi 170CR in Anthracite Grey, It isn't brand new but was a management car and has only a few 1000 miles on the clock.

Until yesterday I was driving a 2.0 TDi Audi A4 Avant and was very unhappy with the amount of room in the luggage area and also the fuel economy, - at best only in the low 40s. Previously I had a Passat 2.0TDi 170 CR whic had far more room and regularly achieved 48-50mpg. Unfortunately my company insisted I had to have an estate so I bought the Audi. - Bad Mistake. Company only pay 11p/mile for business use so it was costing me money to do my job. I managed to persuade them to let me have a hatchback this time so, hopefully now I should be better off and with the extra room be more comfortable.

Enough of my ramblings for now I'm off to trawl the forum for information regarding my new car.

Merry Christmas and welcome.

Welcome. Merry Christmas :)
