depending on how bad it is use a clay bar

Try some petrol, that will do it. Just remember to wax it after

white spirit will work, it will also remove any protection you may have on that area too so be sure to re-protect

There is a product called AS Tardis that most people use which is 98% White Spirit, so as BigW has said if you do use neat White Spirit then you will need to re-protect the area..........

Holts tar remover is excellent.

white spirit done the job, polished with Ag srp then waxed.
