Eibach Questions

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've been thinking of getting the VRS fitted with Eibach's when it arrives at the dealers but they've quoted me £460! :o

They also said that the ride was quite a bit harder than the standard VRS setup.

So, is the ride harder? (It's for a Hatch CR VRS)

What have people paid for the same mod if you don't mind me asking?

Does anybody know why the springs for the hatch seem to cost more than the springs for the estate??

Thanks

Not sure how helpful this is as I dont have a VRS, however my Octy had the "Sport" pack which was sportier suspension and Alloys, I fitted Eibach Pro kit, and the ride is firmer, not terribly, but you feel the bumps more, however handling and ride height improved, so I was happy

There's some recent info here.

...especially if you fit Koni FSD dampers at the same time.

That price seems a bit steep to me. Should only cost about £100 to get springs fitted plus the price of the springs comes well under your quoted £460.

Yeah, I paid £315 at Awesome and that included 4 wheel geometry setup. Have done about 600 miles on them now and no regrets at all. Fine around town and I can feel no difference on the comfort side of things. Also no problems with speed bumps etc.

Thanks guys....I'd love some FSD's but I think SWMBO may issue me with a genital cuff if I try to get them on as well! :o

Cheers
