Santa very kindly sent me a 500gb external hard disk which I have used to back up the photos music etc stored on my PC via the windows backup and restore function. SWMBO and I log onto the PC separately, and 90% of our music is in her profile, as well as her photos. Will this backup be good for both of us, or will just my files be saved?

I’m running vista on my PC BTW, should that make a difference.

I am not sure with vista, but I think it backs up all the users documents for everyone. A good way to check is to login to the other profile and select to restore a single file, then see if they are all listed.
