Another loose end from a dealer conversation yesterday:

I'm still looking for a definitive answer on MDI (Multi-Device Interface - ie to allow, inter alia, an iPod to beconnected for charging, track control etc) and the Yeti.

As far as I can make out from previous threads, MDI is orderable in Europe but not for some curious reason in the UK. Yesterday's dealer was again adamant that it's not available for UK orders (which Skoda UK superficially confirms, but in such an uncertain way that it doesn't inspire confidence that they really know) and that the only option was an external iPod ICE interface which would attach to the Columbus head unit. He seemed to think that a Yeti-specific third-party interface was available from some specialist manufacturer for fitting at ca £200 all-in. Anyone know anything about such a device please?

Given that MDI is available in Europe I can only presume that this is an oversight by Skoda UK forgetting to put it in their brochures and ordering systems.

Time for another targeted campaign to nag them until the include it??
