It appears to offer everything that a proper VAG_COM cable does - CAN - but I have learnt not to believe everything you read

looks like a dodgy lead with an illegal copy of VCDS as well.

Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole!

As is usually the case, you get what you pay for. This has been confirmed as an illegal copy of the software by the authors.
