Hi...I'm new to this forum, I'm from Denmark and have a Fabia Estate 1.9 TDI

I have some infinity speakers I want to fit, have searched this forum and google, but it seems the guide everyone is pointing to is dead:

I know everything about the spacers, which I have made from to pieces og plywood 18 mm. But my problem is how to remove the door cover. Anyone else know a guide or a working link for the dead link?

hey, i own a 2006 Skoda fabia 1.2 sport.

i recently upgraded my front door speakers to infinity speakers, however you must ensure that they are "shallow fit" as they will not fit the door. I was unsure of door panel removal but just went by trial and error.

1. unscrew 3 star screws on the underside of the door.

2. remove door handle fascia which has the window switches in and unplug the switches(i used small flat headed screwdrivers to force up the fascia, it has 3 clips which just unclip with force)

3. remove door handle fascia which doesnt have the window switches in using the same method.

4. unscrew the 3 main screws found under the fascias you have taken off.

5. remove side mirror fascia in which surrounds the manual knob to opporate the morrors.

6. unscrew the small screw that is holding the plastic to the door.

7. unclip the door panel by forcing it away from the door at the bottom, working your way to the top (i cannot remember exactly how many clips there are)

8. unclip the door handle wire from behind the panel.

9. Leave the alarm LED and wiring attached.

10. bring the door panel away from the door at the bottom slightly and apply even pressure to force the top of the panel up and to unclip from the window sil.

Reverse method to put everything back into place.
