Hi i was hoping someone could help me ive had my skoda octavia a few months and not long after i got a fault with my intermitant wiper coming on in the neutral setting. It sometimes fixed itself when i messed about with the wipers but the main problem being when i start the engine it wipes straight away. So the problem being i started the car yesterday and the wipers dident move cause they were frozen to the window! I put some warm water on the windscreen to melt the ice but now when i try the wipers i hear a noise like the motor trying to get them to move but theres no movement. If anyone has any ideas i would be extremely grateful because im back to work tomorrow and cant drive the car with no wipers!

Oh and one more thing all the fuses seem ok.

I think I may have the same issue on mine. When I start the car, the wipers wipe once. I thought it was just SWMBO leaving the wipers in intermittent mode or something but she swears not so now I'm wondering.

Is this a known issue/feature?
