Airbag warning light

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

After I collected my car from a holiday parking carpark, the wipers didn't work, I saw a post which said the fuse blows easily if the wiper stick to the screen, looks like whom ever moved it before I collected it didn't wait for the screen to defrost. After the breakdown repair guy came out and checked the fuses he found the washer fuse had blown, ( i'd found the front wiper fuse which was ok ) and all work fine now, but due to the confusing diagram for the fuse layout on the vRS he also removed the fuse for the steering warning, and the airbag as well. the steering light went off after re-starting the car, but the airbag warning hasn't even after a few re-starts. Can this be cured without the need to visit a dealer and have the car hooked up to the diagnostic machine??

Cheers

Should clear after about 50 restarts if each drive is 10mins or more.

Cheers for the reply, should manage that soon, although it's due for a service soon so the dealer may re-set
