Featured Replies

Hi All,

Im Danny (19) & Live in Leeds

ive just recently bought a Fabia VRS on an 07. I love it! the power for me goin from a corsa 1.2 to a vrs is phenomenal!

Im in to modifications etc.. does anyone have any recommendations for starters? ive just bought a K&N Apollo but had to take it off due to warrenty work being done..

Also is there any faults i need to look out for?

Any help is appreciated

Thanks for looking

Danny

It'll be written off soon then ;)

Welcome!

Totally agree with the power increase, having upgraded from a fabia 1.2 the difference is massive!

No I just did the sensible thing and worked my way up with the power ;)

personally, I'd not use the K&N. There's nothing wrong with the paper filter.

Usual mods are bigger front brakes, a rear ant-roll bar, and a remap, but if I was you I'd get used to the car as it is first.

Wecome, by the way, and do *try* not to put it on it's roof.

but you started at the top of the tree when it came to cynicism :)

Welcome along Danny

Rear Anti-Roll bar is a must have although any modifications would have to be declared to your insurance company which generally puts prices through the roof.

I'd leave it as standard until you ahve a few more years no claims behind you (finger crossed) then go down the remap route.

welcome to briskoda

Hehe gotta say I had the same thought - 1.2 Corsa to a vRS at 19 *sucks air in through teeth* hehe ;)

Well, welcome and take it easy! ;)
