Skoda customer services

Featured Replies

I got my Fabia back in September, and straight away I found the dealer hadnt stamped the book re PDi etc so took it back and they apologised. A few days ago I thought Id better read about the breakdown cover, as we are going abroad. In the folder that came with the car there was nothing about it, so I phoned Skoda direct.

They told me that I had three years cover and just to phone the number in the book, I informed them I had nothing regarding breakdown and needed the numbers and details of what was covered.

Skoda then gave me a number to call, this was the RAC who told me that I should have a booklet that details everything I needed to know... why couldnt Skoda have told me that? So, I asked my dealer for one and have heard nothing from them in over a week. I then emailed Skoda who eventually emailed me some details from 2007... how do I know if this is up to date and why cant they just send me the relevant booklet?

I had heard that Skoda were always voted the best at customer service etc but these small things have let them down, Ive had better service from Fiat, Peugeot and smart. I know its not important stuff but its not impressive from a company that bigs itself up so much!
