I have recently fitted a MFD2 sat nav unit in my Octy II VRS 2007, does anyone out there know which bluetooth interface i should use is it, 1Z0 035 729C ?

I do not have the maxi dot display i dont know if this makes a difference?

Ideally a 1Z0 035 729, 729B or a 5P unit but I don't think you'll find one easily unless it's used.

The 729C or D work better with the RNS510, that's not saying a C or D won't work with your MFD2, it's certainly worth a try however without the Maxidot and with only an MFD2 it won't really work for you anyway - You'll have no visibility of the phonebook etc. I don't think the 729 C or D will work with the pre facelift (except LE) Maxidot even if you did have it.

In your position I think a Bury or similar would be better.

Yes I think so mate, the part number should be on the label on the front.
