All Lights Failed ....... According to Maxidot?

Featured Replies

I stopped off at the petrol station today to fill up and all was well, except the weather of course.

I paid for my fuel, started the car up and the light bulb failed light was illuminated and the maxidot displayed the check light XYZ message, only when cycling through the messages, it said that every bulb in the car had failed????

I drove the short distance home and disconnected the battery for a few minuites and problem solved.

I did check all the lights at the garage and all worked, except the indicators which stayed on rather than flashed.

Any ideas what might cause this, has this happened to anyone else?

bad earth maybe to the battery??

Thats what I suspected, checked all connections though and all seems well.

When I had my Fabia vRS, the headlight (Xenon) on one side was shown as failed for about 10 seconds..It hadnt..It was fine.. Never did it again

Happened to me recently - 09 FL. Went to dealer with it and they did an upgrade to the comfort controller under a recall - can't remember the number. Had the same behavior on the indicators, but leave them on long enough and they start to flash.
