I'm interested to know if anyone else has had problems with their electric windows not working. It started last week, and I put it down to the freezing weather and the windows being iced up. However now the weather is slightly less cold the passenger window works ok, but the driver window has given up the ghost completely.

One thing I've noticed is that there is a slight clicking sound from the passenger side as you press the switch, but nothing at all from the driver side switch. I'm told that this is a not uncommon problem with Skoda/Volkswagen cars, but I haven't found any reference to it in these forums.

this should be made a sticky somewhere as its not the first time someone has asked about malfunctioning electric window(s)
