Octavia MKII VRS problems

Hi All, been away from this site for a fair while and return with my tail between my legs with a request for help and guidance. After many years of motoring along with many a different Skoda my current VRS appears to be suffering with the Flu. Started last week in the cold and snow with the ESP and Tyre pressure warning lights staying on at start up. These symptons cleared up within the space of 10 minutes not to be seen again until this cold, snowy evening, when not only did the ESP and Tyre Pressure light come on and stay on, but the ABS did the same and then the Oil Warning flickered in the Maxidot display. Now whilst the Oil flicker was just that, a flicker, the other warnning lights remained for the 15 minute drive. I promptly let the car settle, patted the bonnet lovingly and after 10 minutes lifted it to check the recently topped up oil, to find what I can only describe as a head of Guiness nestling under the oil filler cap. I cried, cleaned up the mess and with words of comfort checked the fluids again and topped her up some more. So my questions to my many fellow owners are;

1. Has anyone else suffered similar dashboard disco effects. (Maybe caused by adverse waether conditions)

2. Has anyone else found the remnants of what looks like Guiness Froth under the Oil Filler cap, which I know can be attributed to Oil/Water mixing.

I will of course be seeking the counselling of my local Skoda Dealership brethren, but the voice of the masses can sometimes be a comforting thing.

Any replies will be truly welcome.

I had the ESP and tyre pressure lights on a few days ago, but it was after I disconnected the battery for 20 minutes to re-calibrate everything - it cleared as soon as I pulled out of my road.

As for the froth, I've never had actual froth on my car but if I do a few short trips in a row i.e. not long enough for the engine to burn away all the condensation, I do get some creamy mayo on the filler cap. With my last car, a SEAT Leon, I worked 5 minutes down the road and the build up I got on that was terrible :)

Defo get it checked out though, with those lights staying on.

the TPM thing has all been mentioned on the GTI forum as well, ive been safe so far although weve had a lowest temp of -6 which isnt to bad.

if you put 30psi in your car on a cold ish day say 10 degrees then when it gets colder the pressures will lower. and some parts of the country have been getting as low as -17 so that must make a pretty huge difference. and sounds about right that they clear after 10 minutes of driving, as you drive you wheel temps should rise and with it so will the tyre pressures back towards your preset settings hence the lights going off.
