Hello,

My first post here so I apologise for any numptyness in advance.

My Fabia 1.4 has flickering headlight syndrome,from what I have searched on this forum there are numerous causes. I've been searching for a guide on how to replace the steering angle sensor as I suspect this is the problem.Sadly I haven't been able to find such a guide,could someone supply a link or point me in the right direction please.

I'd check the battery, alternator output, and connections to alternator, battery and steering motor before spending out on the angle sensor. A decent auto electrician will do this in about 15 minutes, subject to the understanding that they get to replace the battery and/or alternator if required (and they can usually be trusted to not say the parts are duff just to get business). can't help with replacing the sensor though.

slight headlamp flickering is normal due the current draw of the PAS pump, but as Ken said best getting the battery etc checked anyway just so you know they are ok or not
