Yesterday the display on my FL elegance estate stopped working. It was working when i started my journey and came on correctly after I had stopped twice. However I then stopped another time for longer. When I switched the ignition on after about 2 hours the music started playing but the display was totally black. The buttons were still working around the edge but the touchscreen didn't respond. I switched the unit off/on a couple of times but it didn't make any difference. I turned the ignition off and tried with the engine off - no difference. Restarted engine and drove for 30 minutes - still no difference. Left it overnight - display came on as normal this morning!

Anyone else experienced this or have any ideas what could have happened?

i recently had something a bit like this: the display stayed on, but only for media. Mine suddenly stopped the brief display when you adjust climate control. Restarted ok whn I swithched Bolero off and on again. It's not happened since

This has happened to me this morning :(

It carried on playing music and it responded to touch inputs. Tried turning on/off a few times hasn't fixed it. Feels like a software problem to me or display driver needs a reset. I'm wondering if I should disconnect the battery to make it "reboot".

Will have another look at lunchtime.

Mine recovered just by leaving it overnight. It's only done it the once and that's now 8 months ago.
