Problem in fuel tank exhaust system.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

While visiting my dealer for the regular service they found

the following error "Problem in the fuel tank exhaust system.Error in flow..."

Sorry but I don't have the error code....

Any idea what this might be?

BR

Could well be a fault either with the charcoal canister or ACF valve.

Not heard of it worded that way before but its where id have a look first, any more info on the car, i.e model, engine?

Yes If I had the fault code it would be better. I just translated the scanttool's

greek messages that's why you haven't heard it like that...

Thanks for the suggestions , the car is a fabia 1.4 (101Ps) AUB model

I think they have changed the valve but the fault remained...

Hi, this time I managed to have the fault codes but the dealers techs

were not willing to help a lot.

16825 : This is for the problem I opened the topic

but this time I got the following fault codes as well

17586 : This should be something related with the lamda sensor any idea?

17589 : Same as above

17604 : This came up after the EPC light went on

Does anybody know what are these fault codes?

Regards,

Takis

These are the decodes for the above VW Diagnostic Trouble Codes, courtesy of Bentley Publishers site:

16825 - EVAP Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow

17586 - Linear O2 Sensor / Pump Current Open Circuit

17589 - Linear O2 Sensor / Reference Voltage Open Circuit

Maybe someone with VAG-COM can offer more information.
