hi, i'm rallying a group N fabia year 2000, 1.4 16v and i need any advice regarding the gearbox,

we are finding a huge gap between 2nd and 3rd gear which drops the engine off cam.

we are allowed freedom on the internals as long as the casing is the same.

can anyone tell me of similar external box with tighter ratios within

( 1.2.fabia? or polo gt? )

or maybe we have to change the c.w.pinion ?

top speed isn't as important as acceleration
