New vRS owner.

Featured Replies

ive had my vrs 3 weeks now (y reg 30.000 miles red) very impressed everything is rock solid and performance/economy excellent.

Gearbox is a bit stiff especially between 2nd and 3rd (maybe just me) also a helluva lot of brake dust what are the options on brake disc/pad combinations or are standard best? All my mates are impressed with the quality of the car and cant believe its a Skoda! Anyone got tyres other than continental on if so what and are they better.

Cheers.

this thread gives some good general advice, including tyres and brakes

Hi Wrighty obviously you havent spared the pennies on your vrs! and the rgv 250 is not exactly the most economical of bikes is it, great handling bike which was only superceded by the aprillia 250 (same engine).

I would love to start modifying my vrs but i am happy with it at the moment but the ecu upgrade is the obvious choice with the biggest power gains.

I am up in Sunderland anyone any idea where the nearest place where i can upgrade my ecu or am i forced to travel southwards.
