Greetings all, just recently bought skoda no6, previously owned an estelle 105s, 136 rapid, 135 ric, favorit estate and now onto my second felicia - not sure if there's a masochistic streak in me somwhere or I'm just a glutton for punishment!

Ok, fair enough, the rwd models I owned or still own (both coupes festering gently in the barn waiting for the 'get round to it') were probably the most reliable cars I've owned and the first felly did me proud untill a 'sorry mate, didn't see you' wrote it off eight years ago. Several (too many!) vehicles from lesser marques have kept me in various states of mobility untill I purchased a '98 1.3 mpi at a very low price with plenty of 'extras' not published in the brochure - you know the ones, seized rear brake cylinders that help burn the clutch out, plenty of lightening of body panels - especially round the wheel arches and boot door through tin-worm, driver and passenger shower through the sunroof, rev limiter @ 1, 500 rpm for the first 250 yards while the ecu wakes to mention a few!

So you're probably thinking I'm slagging the car, well maybe but it also feels really solid, hasn't left me stranded anwhere, passed its mot with no comments whatsoever (after replacing the clutch and persuading the slave cylinders to work for a while - new ones going on now I don't have to build an igloo round it to work on it) and most importantly IT'S COMFORTABLE!
