My fathers L & K arrived last week & looking over it at the weekend a couple of questions if anyone can help.

1/ The front fog lamps I believe are the cornering ones but do not seem to operate, I have completed all the relevant criteria from the hand book ie under 10KPH indicator on with dipped beam but no joy the fog lights work ok themselves & I can see an additional bulb in the side of the foglamp so I presume they are fitted.

2/ The display in the centre of the instuments also has the facility to give the vehicle speed readout this is currently in KPH, the hand book details a section in the maxi dot menu called second speedo where this can be adjusted but this option is not listed.

Other than those couple of items what a super car apart from the front washers having a very poor performance suppose I can just adjust these.

I think the footnote in the manual about British Units must refer to the second display and not the dials as the UK cars won't let you change the speed from kph to mph

Here you can switch on the display of the second speed in mph or in km/h3).

3) Valid for countries where the values are indicated in British measuring units.

I don't have the cornering foglights on my VRs so can't help you on that one

I did see that in the handbook &took it to mean that in the UK this was able to be changed. But purhaps not seems a little sill purhaps.

As I understand it since the speedo has no Km/h calibration on it the computer has to show Km/h as a legal requirement.

That's how I read it at first, but as I can't find the option and I vaguely remember reading somewhere that it was European law that km/h was always available it appears that you can't change it on the UK models...

It has to be said, that some of the translation from Czech to English in the manual is a little odd... Having said that my old Peugeot Manual was a riot of errors...

Does anyone have any information on the front fog lamps having two bulbs each. I was on the understanding this was for cornering fogs but now looking through the manual would appear to be for day time running lights.

There is a part in the hand book that details cornering fogs as & an option but I thought this was part of the L&K package. The book is slightly confusing again as it mentions cornering fogs will not operate when the day time running lights are operating which would possibly suggest the facility for cornering fogs is there??
