Removing tailgate inner trim

Featured Replies

Help please,my rear washer stopped working which normally is no great problem except this time after cleaning jets out it still dribbled from the outlet without the jet fitted.Thought it could be either one of the pipe connections has come partley off.Tried to take trim off and heard the clips coming apart as they were stuck so hard. What i did not see first of all was there is a screw holding the pull "rod" to the lid and have now caused a fracture of the plastic, if i can remove the complete trim i might be able to plastic weld the fracture but first i need to remove trim. Question, which is the correct way to remove hatchback boot trim. Would appreciate answers, thanks.

Ouch...that a pity.

Tbh apart from not having the screw out you were doing it right. Just be careful at area beside glass, those fitting going in direction of glass.

See here,

Had same issue on my hatch removed all the tail gate cover to find out it was the connector located on the passenger side of the boot under the carpet above the wheel arch.
