Hello all,

I've done some searching and to be fair maybe its me but I cant find that much information on remapping the DSG. After a few convos it would seem that some members may not widh to talk about this on the open forum, for reasons I do totally understand and do agree with.

If anyone reading this has had a remap to their Octavia vRS 2.0CR with DSG would you mind sending me a PM on any problems and how you have found the remap to be, who it was with etc.

I would imagine the reluctance to discuss it stems from very little being known about it. I too would like a DSG CR remap but at present I guess it's going through various test's. Shark Performance told me they were running a test on it and the Autosport Showa nd would have news soon

indeed that is one reason the other would be people just do not want everyone to know they have a remap to which I respect that.

Indeed we are just finalising it now, it should be released within a few weeks

Had my car custom remapped with auto-tune. 200bhp 352lb/ft of torque. I've had no issues. Really smooth power delivery all the way to the red line. He told me he could move the power bands around to suit the driver or lower the torque for those with DSG. I believe its safe for 320/330lb/ft.

Anyone else had their DSG diesel remapped? Seem thin on the ground, worries about the DSG box handling the torque still a concern?

No problem at all with diesel DSG owners having remaps, the only thing i've read is that most tuners tend to limit the torque to 350nm, that said some are running higher figures without issue, if you would like more info have a look un UK MKV's or similar

According to my tuner, I'm running approx. 400nm on my DSG (for nearly 300,000kms)
