Useful info about below 7 deg. I think that you made the right call with your extra tyres. :0)

Nice to see them getting some much needed publicity. The mainstream media generally ignore them in the UK. The BBC website had a whole feature about driving on ice and snow and totally failed to mention winter tyres.
