Well after years of RWD petrol fun with our seccond little one on the way i've given in to the family need for a larger car and purchased an 06 Octavia II 1.9 PD with DSG in Ambiance trim. Already got a copy of VAGCOM for the MKV Golf with the same box/engine. Had a quick look at the forums and looks to be an invaluable source of info so thanks in advance :)

Thanks :) The idea of having a boot that you can actually put things in (last car wouldn't take a toilet roll stood up) and the engine being at the front will take a lot of getting used to as will having rear passengers but i'll get there... eventually!
