Had a few hours to kill today so I set about renewing the Brake discs and pads. The old pads were well worn due to track days 2009 and the discs were a bit warped. A bit of a clean up of the callipers and surrounding area was required without going in to bull**** mode after all they will only get dirty again in a couple of days. The main concern was cleaning the old brake dust off to allow free operation of the calliper mechanism and use of copper slip to stop parts binding together. After finding myself a set of Octy vRS brakes to go on my fabia, I too am on the hunt for some discs and pads to go in them.

Also now looked at what you have fitted Soot1e, they work out £10 dearer.

The car is mostly used for everyday use, with the occasional trip to the 'Ring
