Hi all just looking for some information on what to look for in way of problem when buying a felicia fun pick up on a t reg with 70k mark on the clock

i dont know too much about the problem areas associated with Funs, but one area to check is the rear strut housings - they do tend to corrode badly if the car hasn't been looked after too well. Theres a chap on here with a Fun who I'm sure can help you more, Briggsy I think he's called.

had a good search so found some mods i be doing to the fun if its as clean as the photos i been send of it.

bigger brakes

lowering it

exhaust

better wheels as 13in abit small for me

maybe the 5 stud conversion

but i wait see what its like

as said above, the rear suspension turrets rust up quite bad on some, make sure the timing belt has been done too

is that the part at the top of the inner wing thats goes ?.or the bit by the hole that the shock goes though?.

is that all the problems they have for rust ?.

it's the whole panel where the rear damper goes through the chassis.. ie; inside the bed... the other place they do rust is where the bed meets the rear bulkhead but the fun models are different to the normal pickup.. also the bottom of the tailgate rusts as well

ok its a good one but just 3/4 things not wronging right

one the rear hatch handle in the cab rear panel broken on me so is it a fun only part or they fitted to a different skoda

needs a cat as holding back on hillls and high revs and very small amount of exhaust gas coming out of exhaust

temp gauge sats on the 1st line on the gauge but goes up then back down on hills think thermostat gone

passagers door lock just turns round and round and not lock/unlocking the door is there a rod inside
