Flat Battery - Consequences

Featured Replies

I have recently returned from a long holiday over the cold snowy xmas period and was told by my father in law that my car battery was dead when he popped round to give it a little run (he is very helpful) in the midle of the cold snap.

He jumped the car and got the engine running again but when i took the car out the other day i noticed that none of my CDs now play, I just get an ERROR when i put a disk in. The radio works fine.

Does the CD player sound faulty or is there anything i can do to make it work OK.

TIA.

C

What is the error message? "Surface" and "Mechanic" errors on the stacker can often be cleared by removing the cartridge and replacing it when parking up.

Sounds like it might have got damp. I could clear after use when it warms up.
