Featured Replies

I am looking for a picture of the underside of the Mk 1 skoda octavia.

If anyone knows or has one then can they please post it up?

I am a little confised as to the jacking points for a trolly jack and were I can put the stands. this is why I need the pic of the underside of the car. so the places can be marked clearly.

thanks

billy

Hi there,

i have octavia mark one and will take picture tommorow and sent it to you. Its dark at the moment.

What i normally do, instead of jackin the car on the seals i normally jack my octavia on solid part of subframe, it is a solid place and nothing will bent.

Billy all the points in your last 3 pics are ok.

For the front I tend to use the front of the main chassis members you circled to jack up on, then when in the air put axle stands under the front subframe bolts again where you circled

For the rear I jack up on the rear wishbone mounts(where the brake cable route under) then when in the air but axle stands either under the wishbone bolts as your pic states or the rear beam between the whiteline bar .

P.S I posted the Hub seperator tool to you today, hopefully you get it tomorrow.

cheers
