Changing front suspension arm bushes?

Has anyone actually changed the front suspension arm bushes wioth buying the whole new arm?

Is it a nightmare as it can be or is it straight forward with the right tool?

Just ahd to ask as ive got a BMW rear bush tool that im sure will fit the VW range of cars but i might just go for the whole new arms!

You can quite often got the whole arms with new bushes installed cheaper than the bushes alone and with out the problems of pressing new bushes in etc. Try your local motor factors for the parts

Made the job proper easy and pain free. Did wishbones, ball joints and all the associated nuts and bolts. The suspension is very easy to work on this car.

Yeah ive done the other diesel that ive got but for some reason this one knocks and thumps but all the bits are new!

Im just hoping that new arms cure the problem!
