Hi All,

has any of you experienced the Cruise cutting out and refusing to go back on,

I getting the fault code and it point to a replecement stalk.

has anyone stripped the unit is it servicable?

Have a look for instructions on how to pull the stalk apart. You can slide the assembly with the rocker switch and on/off switch out the end of the stalk. Cleaning the contacts and reassembling seems to fix the problem for most people who have these symptoms. I haven't done this myself though, mine's still working.

I experienced this problem with my 55 reg Octavia. I found a thread previously in the forum explaining how to rectify this without repleacing the stalk.
