Just wondered what u have to do to see when the service is due on a Octavia vRS c/rail (facelift) someone said you do a sequence with the ignition / trip button and it gives you the info on the maxidot screen :S

Any ideas ???

Ignition on, engine off, TWIST the trip rest. Mileage and days will be shown.

Is the method different between maxidot and DIS? I have DIS and hold the trip reset in for 2 seconds and its displayed. I thought the twist reset the counter back to fixed.

The above was from an FL member that offered up the info so have no idea what dash they have.

Read a few other posts and I think the answer to my question is that they changed the method on the face lift. My car is 2005 with the standard display. Is this correct?

On an Pre Facelift you can press rather than twist to get the time to service.
