Hi,

I have been given a blue usb lead and a cd with driver and vag-com-s 409

I have installed to my lappy and plugged into car and connectivity is good.

ie, reads engine number etc and no faults logged.

What I would like to do with this tool is

1 - real engine temperature display

2 - anything to do with glowplug testing or just reading of load

3 - something to do with doing a vnt test on the blower

4 - change key remote to unlock driver door only on 1st press

Car is a 2k3 tdi ambient

Well, after a little careful reading and looking I found the answer to points 1 and 2 with graphs

. Dont quite know what im seeing to on 2 tho with the plugs.

all 1's is showing all plugs off when engine warming. but there are 8 digits. 4 plugs

My car this morning being cold showed 10101111 and to me that could be just 2 plugs are working, but which way does it read......

no idea on where or how to, on points 3 and 4.

ahhhh, Im talking lots of crud. now found exactly what the stages are in the heating cycle of the glow plugs :-)

Still to find out about the vnt test.

and found out and did the change to the locking to do the driver door only :-)
