New Car

Featured Replies

Thinking of selling the fabia for something else.

quite fancy an estate car, particularly an Audi RS6.

anyone had one before? how bad are they on fuel, general running costs etc.

anything i should be wary of if looking for one.

How deep are your pockets ????

If they are cavernous you should do just fine, If they are more like a mouse's ear then run now while you still have the chance.

Nice cars though :) :)

my pockets arent hugely deep but i probably wouldnt be running the car every day for that reason.

had a look at used car prices, i think an 04 plate should be affordable, insurance was surprisingly cheap but i know it would be hellish on fuel.

Running it will not be cheap, but what the hell, you only live once :)

Keith,

Pop onto the RS246 forum.

Loads of info over there.

If you can stretch to it, try an RS6 + . Nicer spec.

why not have a rs4

How about an RS2

How about an RS2

forgot about that one

if your worrying about fuel costs, dont bother.... you dont buy a car like that to worry about gettin as many miles the the gallon as you can.... buy a prius...

Sorry, I might be a little late in the day, I don't come here as often as I should, but I had an RS6 before my Fabia vRS and it was very bad on fuel, general running costs. Admittedly, I was using Audi for servicing as I wanted to keep that FASH but it would still be an expensive beastie - I cheered if I ever got 20mpg...

Also, you'd probably be surprised at how little the move to the Fabia bothered me. The RS6 is great in a straight line but not an agile car.
