Call me a tart but...

Featured Replies

When I change the HU on my furby I'd like to get a replacement that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. So I'm thinking a dark coloured unit with green ilumination would be a plan... Also, not only am I a tart but I'm also a tightwad :D

I'm thinking either Pioneer DEH-P3600MP for about

tart :P

There's always one...

In this day and age MP3 is a must! Also I would go with one that had at least a one set of RCA's

Had an MP3 Clarion deck in my last car, but usually just burned complete albums from CD, can't be arsed with Grokster and the like these days.

As for RCA's, that's what I meant by pre-outs and sub-outs :D

That's got three :)

It will boss a changer to drive 6x mp3 discs :)

and its cheap

Oh! Sunroof, metallic, Xenons and heated seats, not forgetting cruise control aren't enough for you Jut!!

Tart indeed :D

Missed the multi CD player due to lack of space on the order form

lol John (Saw you outside the stereo shop last Wed, got furby OK)

I would go for an Alpine, best sound quality. Don't look that bling, no pointless racing car or dolphins like most of the pioneer.

Lol, no heated seats, not that soft! :D

Did go with the sunroof though, so I can work on my winter tan

Look at buying the 9827 range, this will give you MP3 and 3 preouts. Downside is no changer control.

CDM-9825R will drive a CD changer but NOT the Alpine MP3 one I'm afraid. To use the 6 disc MP3 you will need to buy a minimum of the CDA-9830R

I'm doing a wicked deal on Alpine MP3 CD Changers at the moment

a taster :)

I would have to say, it's a very wise purchase :):)

There's always two...

Ya tart! ;)

the only thing that used to really **** me off with having an aftermarket CD player was having to take the face off out of the car, its alright when SWIMBO is out with me as she could keep it in her handbag with the rest of her essentials.

I think I'll stick with my ipod and transpod for the time being.

Yeah, and the fabia doesn't even have a locking glovebox. I suppose you could use the storage under the passenger seat, most thieving little buggers probably wouldn't realise unless they really had their thinking caps on -and I don't believe thinking caps come in a burberry baseball style...

I wouldn't bother locking the glove box as they are more likely to damage it trying to open it. Do the balpunkt ones still come with a smart card key?

The dab52 has a removeable front, some models still use the card but tend to be the highend models. I dont see the point of the cards though because replacement ones are easy to get hold of.
