R32 lower arms

Featured Replies

to confirm, are these a direct replacement for octavia front arms? the only difference being the camber adjustment on the r32 ones? any help appreciated

You could register here: http://www.vagcat.com/

Then check the part numbers against eachother to be sure they are different and how.

I wasn't aware that the R32 wishbones were special, I thought it was just the TT ones that were different.

well apparantly the tt and the r32 are the same....with camber adjustment. cheers for the link, shall take a looksky

You will need to change the hub for a FWD TT one

even on a vrs?

Yeah. Different hub needed

got from mk4 forum

The main thing you want to do is fit TT or R32 hubs as they have a lower ball joint position, and so it corrects the roll centre when lowering the car and will stop bump steer. FWD TT hubs fit straight on, 4WD hubs will need the drive flange swapping out due to having different driveshafts.

Thanks countryboyhaha, i find bump steer to be quite bad on mine so these tt hubs could be the answer.

you can fit them with standard hubs but you need to space the 2 apart with a washer due to the way the balljoint fits in the hub.......still waiting to fit mine as im after some front wheel drive tt hubs to go with my setup.
