Continuing from the original Original Thread. I was onto my dealer yeaterday to find out if Skoda UK had sorted out the issue. He informed me that the software upgrade will be issued at anytime now.

Has your Elegance been updated yet and if it has, did the upadte work? :wonder:

no a real direct contribution to the thread or a solution. Just a comforter..... as an owner of a Xenon lit Snow-monster delivered after the crimble period I haven't had this issue.

i'm only mentioning this as i have not broken mirrors lately, i have me rabbits feet and a lucky lock o heather i bought from a dear ol' lady in the toon at very reasonable rates :p

Ours had a new bulb fitted but I only picked it up today so too early to know if that has cured the problem.

My dealer gave my a new loan demo before christmas - the drivers side H/L went out twice the same week and then it was ok until last wednesday and 400 miles - and then the passenger side H/L went out twice on a 1.5 mile trip - I was told by my dealer last week that skoda tecnical think that they have a fix ( a new cpu to be fitted to all affected cars ) but skoda HQ want to run extended tests to make absolutly certain before releasing it. Probably about 3 to 4 weeks.
