Hi Everyone

As of yesterday I am now the proud owner of my first ever Skoda - a 2003 model Octavia 1.8T Elegance Auto! (petrol)

For the last few years have been a big Ford (ie Granada / Scorpio) enthusiast but sadly they ceased production in 1998.

First impressions of the Octavia are excellent and at the moment I am looking for any excuse to get in and drive the car.

Who knows , in the future I may be fortunate enough to be able to afford a V6 Superb, if not a VRS, but until then I am

more than happy to enjoy the model I currently have.

Incidentally is there anywhere I can obtain the official Skoda data for this model relating to top speed, 0-60 time,

acceleration through the gears ie 30-50, 50-70 etc and fuel consumption figures?

The dealer quite understandably only has this informationfor the current models.

My apologies if I should not be asking these questions on this forum!

Log on to www.skoda-auto.com and open the site map, then open up the documentation section, you will then see a section listed as olders, and from here you can download manuals for various models. hope this helps, and you find what you are looking for. your model might be classed under octavia tour.
