Anyone know if the MkI Octavia vRS wheels will fit straight on to a MkII vRS? Was wondering as obviously they are smaller and if I had some I could put winter tyres on them and use them in...err...winter. And if it is possible has anyone done anything like this?

No. The Mk2 moved to a 5x112 PCD and the Mk1s are 5x100. The Mk2 also uses a higher offset wheel.

Better to look for other 16" wheels from a Jetta/Golf Mk5 or 6/A4/A6 etc - they all use 5x112 as well. You're looking for an offset of 48-54 really.
