LOGGED IN PERMANANTLY AT WORK

Featured Replies

Hello, I can't find anywhere else to post this so, this is the problem, at work we seem to be still running IE6 and I have noticed recently that whenever I go onto this site from my computer at work,I am already logged in - and can't log out as the page layout when running IE6 hides the "log out" field! I'm just concerned that I will end up being someone that is wasting Briskoda's available bandwidth while not intending to - can a moderator etc dump me off or something as most of my time on this site should really be when I'm at home and running IE8 (as I am now). Ta! I know that this site is not fully compatible with IE6 and can see the warnings - but I had not considered the full effect of this non-compliance.

Staying logged in from work is irrelevant. It's not doing any harm.

As Nick said, staying logged in costs us no additional bandwidth so don't worry! ;)

The only problem you have is when the office cleaner starts posting for you :)

No, she's not that active, she just keeps my seat warm!!

Thanks for the replies though - I'll stop worrying now!

You could try going into control panel ,then internet optos ,and deleting any history ,etc ,

Why not simply navigate away from Briskoda, or close the browser?

Go to the bottom of the page and click on "Delete my cookies". If somebody else logs on to Briskoda with your computer at work it will log on to your name.

Yes as said, it's just a cookie issue. You can get rid of just the briskoda cookie if your really paranoid; No need to delete all of them
