VRS PD170 service questions

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have trawled through the searches and emailed skoda but haven't clarified this. My car was bought in march 2008 with 15K miles and given its first service and frustratingly put on fixed service intervals without my consent. Anyway, I have done another 10K and its due a service. I would have thought its just an interim service (and brake fluid change as its 2 years old), but my dealer wants to charge me £200 to do a full 2 year service. I can't work it out from the car manual so could anyone be kind enough to give their thoughts and if it is a full service whether the £200 is a fair price. Thanks all

To give you a point of reference A service is £134 and B service is £194 according to Prestige not that i'd use them, dealer should be more expensive and that's not allowing for additional items as and when they are due eg in my case DSG every 4th fixed service, timing belt/brake fluid change etc.

There are more details about the service regimes and what does and doesn't get done in the service book. The second service is always more expensive than the first minor service.
