Squeak/Creak

Featured Replies

In the past week or so my Fabia vRS has developed an interesting creaking/squeaking sound. It's a bit like the sound that you would get from your suspension if it was getting a bit dodgy, but it happens when I accelerate, brake, change gear or change direction (particularly at low speeds). If it was just over bad surfaces I would put it down to suspension, but it isn't - I would suspect something engine mounting or transmission related. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Same here!

If I get time, I'll get under it and lube the bushesemoticon-0143-smirk.gif

Front Anti Roll Bar Bushe's, My previous Fabia Vrs didn't like the cold either ... Try a liberall amount of Wd40 around the bush, Even better if you have some Silicone lubricant spray as it conditions the bushe's..
