Like others before me, my Octavia TDi GLX instrument cluster has died. I'm wanting to swap it out for a used replacement but need the code to get it to work. Can anyone tell me where I can find the 17-digit code?

You need a 4 digit code called the Secret Key Code (SKC). A specialist auto locksmith would be a good place to start, I could do this for you but of course you are across the water.

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a trick to accessing the SKC - or could I do it with the help of a friend with a scanner? If so - how do I then access the 17-digit code I need?
